This Guy Puts the "Dookie" in Green Day - Guitar Rage lvl9999

Having had a guitarist roommate, I can tell you three things:

  • They play all night loudly through an amp.
  • They refuse to use headphones.
  • They have a low tolerance for their own suckage.

For the jury's consideration, I present Exhibit A - Guitar Rage:

This young man has decided, at 1:30 AM, that it's time to play Green Day's "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)"... half a bar at a time... with a nice vocal outro.

Order, Order... Order in the court.

The defendant is deemed guilty and sentenced to anger management and one more year of Guitar Hero.

For you young people reading this, here's the song he's trying to play:

Now, it's admittedly a nice song.  The orchestral arrangement is a nice touch.  But if you're 30 years old or older, you heard enough of this song in the late 90's for a lifetime.

This song was from the album Nimrod, but if you want the real experience of when Green Day busted on the scene, you have to check out Dookie:

It's their 3rd album but their first global or even national success.  This was back when you'd actually hear inspired music in the pop charts instead of the same corrupt, cookie cutter, elite system of money making.  This album though, it's my jam, peanut butter, and jelly.
